Quarter Cow

A quarter cow hanging weight would be about 180-200 lbs, and would yield around 75-100 lbs of packaged meat. This is divided up between ground beef, steaks and roasts.

Freezer Space required for a ¼ cow would be a full freezer in a fridge/freezer or 4 cubic feet in a chest freezer.

A deposit of $500 would be required.

Half Cow

A half cow hanging weight would be about 360 - 400 lbs, and would yield around 150 - 200 lbs of packaged meat. A half cow would need 8 cu feet in a chest freezer and is a good option if you have a small family. This is divided up between ground beef, steaks and roasts.

A deposit of $750 would be required.

Full Cow

A whole cow’s hanging weight would be around 720 - 800 lbs, and would yield around 300 - 375 lbs of packaged meat depending on how it is cut. This is divided up between ground beef, steaks and roasts.

A full cow would feed a family of 4 for over a year. If you have lots of freezer space and would prefer to buy in bulk rather than go to the supermarket, this is a great option for you.

A deposit of $1000 would be required.

For all options above the price is $10.50 / pound hanging weight

Price is charged at $10.50 / pound hanging weight. Packaged weight will be lower than hanging weight because of weight lost when trimmed, de-boned, and cut up.
